Our History

With its growth in the insurance market in September 2011, Global Alliance, Seguros, S.A. Barclays Group, moving from family management to corporate management. Together, Global Alliance, Seguros, S.A. and Barclays Group share a unique vision for Mozambique - the prediction of any adversity in people's lives, providing them with an extensive protection network, which they can count on at all times.

In August 2008, as it was already public knowledge that CGSM and Global Alliance Seguros, S.A. were a single company, it was decided to remove the CGSM from its designation. As a result, Global Alliance Seguros, S.A., or shortly GA, is now designated. Taking into account the exponential development of Mozambique over the last decade and the growing value of insurance by the population, Global Alliance Seguros, S.A., also began to grow and reach a broader public.

As of July 2005, its name was changed to Mozambique for Global Alliance CGSM Seguros, SARL. Society, however, had family management.

In June 2001, the majority of CGSN's shares were transmitted to a British group called Global Alliance Holdings

In March 1993, the Companhia Geral de Seguros de Moçambique, in short, CGSM, was incorporated in Mozambique, whose shares were held by natural persons
